Fairy Cakes


4 oz (113g) butter
4 oz (113g) castor sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
3 oz (85g) flour
1 oz (28g) cornflour
1 tblsp hot water


Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy then add vanilla.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Fold in flour and hot water.
Spoon into fairy cake cases and bake near top of oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
